Menopause and Me

I'm so incredibly jealous of those who have discovered their passion and are pursuing their dreams. I've been hearing for many years that to be truly successful, I needed to do that. If Oprah's doing it, I want to at least try. So I downloaded all the apps and read books about trying to harness the power for myself.  No matter how I tried, it just didn't work. My mind would race and I'd go through my to-do list, what I fought about with my husband, work stuff, why my son wasn't getting his work done and what I was going to make for dinner, among other things. I couldn't get that all to stop. I just couldn't get quite. I just thought I couldn't do it and I wasn't going to be one of those people. I was wrong. These are the methods I used to find success with meditations: Deep Breathes - Start with some deep cleansing breaths. Chant -   A recently acquired coach suggested I use a chant or word to focus. That word was "shrim" . You repeat it any way you want; slow or fast,
